The Last Resort is both a place in another tourist destination and the only way out of a dire situation for this couple.
You can easily get lost in the dunes and lost in your own private thoughts. This is another slightly ghostly story.
The Bay is about a woman on holiday somewhere, probably in Croatia, where the damage caused by the dreadful civil war is still evident.
